Information for my collectors outside of the UK now the UK has left the European Union
All purchases from shop.kevmunday.com to customers outside of the UK are now treated as exports. This means that when you select your country in the shopping basket, the 20% VAT will be removed from the total cost. When it reaches your country, you may then have to pay the import VAT at your local rate. A list of import VAT rates for original artwork can be found below (row highlighted in red):
Because a trade deal between the UK and the EU was reached, there is a zero rate tariff in place which means there will be no customs duty fees to pay for goods made in the UK. This applies to all items in my shop.
Example: A customer based in Italy buys a painting for £400. When selecting Italy as their shipping address, the VAT is removed and the price will be altered to £333.33. When the painting arrives with their local courier, the courier company may charge the customer for the import VAT (Italy's rate is 10%) of £33.33. The total price the collector has paid for the artwork is £366.66.
Please note - this is true for shop.kevmunday.com and not the case for purchases through other marketplaces I sell through. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions about any of the above.
